I wanted to focus on the seven deadly sins and was really interested in depicting all of them, but then realized how much that be and decided to focus on Jealousy and lust. Since we needed to look for something that that dealt with time and myths. I wanted to work with the story of Othello. And then i began to think a little bit more about what else i might be able to throw in there. So i started to think about Disney movies, and Snow White came to mind. I began to realize that a majority of movies that Disney animated were based off of jealously. For exmaple, CInderella, Smow White, Sleeping Beauty, just a few. So i creating images of both Othello with Snow White. For my theme of lust and jealousy.

I think this artist was on another blog and so anyway. I enjoyed Julie Menthru's paintings. Mostly because of her style of painting. She depicts a series of events within on painting. I think that i enjoyed her work the most, because i am a painter. And the way she used her materials is very inspiring. She forms layers over layers, referencing time, things become piled on top of on another. Her work, is very abstract at first, but with a second glance, the viewer is looking at a very chaotic scene, with images refering to 9/11. She brings beauty to something so cruel.
